Minds Beneath Us is a unique narrative experience set in a richly imagined cyberpunk-era Taiwan. It’s primarily a point-and-click adventure with the occasional QTE for combat—nothing too stressful, very manageable. But don’t let that fool you—this isn’t a chill, cosy experience. It’s text-heavy and demands your attention, so save it for when you’re ready to dive deep into a world of political intrigue, AI ethics, and “flop farming.” Despite the lack of facial animations, the writing pulls you in, especially when it comes to the surprisingly compelling office drama and characters in the Screening vs Logistics department.
