Huawei Watch GT 6 and GT 6 Pro are almost here. With launch set for September 19th, new leaks now reveal nearly everything about the upcoming models, from display details to a big battery upgrade.
Just a week ago Huawei hinted at the upcoming series in an official teaser, which we covered in our earlier article. At the time, the information was light. Now, thanks to a detailed leak from WinFuture, we have a much clearer idea of what to expect.
Design remains familiar but refined
At first glance, the design of the Huawei Watch GT 6 series will look very familiar to anyone who has used the previous generation. Huawei has chosen not to make dramatic changes, but there are some refinements. Displays are now slightly larger across the lineup, which improves readability without making the watches feel oversized.
The Pro model will only come in a 46 mm version, equipped with a 1.47-inch AMOLED screen. It runs at a resolution of 466 by 466 pixels and promises strong brightness for outdoor use.

The standard GT 6 will be sold in both 41 mm and 46 mm options. The smaller version features a 1.32-inch AMOLED display at the same 466 by 466 resolution, which means it actually has a higher pixel density. The 46 mm GT 6 shares the display size and resolution of the Pro but uses slightly different materials and a slimmer design. Huawei appears to be aiming the 41 mm edition at those who want a lighter, more design-oriented watch, particularly appealing to women.
We don’t have an image of the 41mm iteration, but here’s the 46mm non-pro variant.

Bigger batteries with longer endurance
Perhaps the biggest upgrade this year is in the battery. Huawei has introduced new High-Silicon Stacked Batteries, boosting energy density by up to 37 percent and capacity by up to 65 percent compared to before.
The 46 mm variants, including the Pro, house a massive 867 mAh battery. That is enough for up to 12 days of standard use, or 21 days when power-saving features are active. The smaller 41 mm version has a 540 mAh battery, still offering up to 8 days of regular use and 14 days in low-power mode.
Charging is wireless, with Huawei quoting around 95 minutes for a full charge on the larger models and about 85 minutes on the smaller one. Water resistance holds at 50 meters.
Health and fitness tracking
As you would expect from this range, the usual set of health and fitness tools are included. That means heart rate monitoring, step counting, SpO2 measurement, ECG functionality, sleep tracking, menstrual cycle tracking, guided breathing exercises and personalised training plans. Sports tracking also remains a core part of the experience.

The standout addition comes with the Pro model. It is the first smartwatch advertised to measure Functional Threshold Power, a key cycling metric. The watch introduces a simulated powermeter function capable of estimating cycling power in watts. On top of that, it can pair with external powermeters, which makes it particularly interesting for serious cyclists.
Inside, the hardware includes a 9-axis accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, dual-GPS support, Bluetooth 6.0 and NFC. That ensures compatibility with contactless payments and accurate activity data.
Colours, pricing and availability
The Huawei Watch GT 6 will be offered in multiple colours and strap options, with the 41 mm clearly targeted at users who prefer a more compact form. Prices in Europe start at 249 EUR, the same as the last generation. The Pro begins at 379 EUR, with higher prices expected for versions using premium materials and bands.
With the official reveal set for September 19th, the leaked details leave little mystery. The focus seems clear: bigger batteries, a sharper cycling toolset and small design tweaks, while keeping prices steady.
